Rural Mentorship Program

A program supported by the State Government, the Rural Mentorship Program is looking to harness the capacity of experienced producers to support the growth and development of mentees. The key objectives of the program are to:

  • Develop a program and training framework using existing mentor frameworks or networks
  • Deliver a training framework that will train at least 10 volunteer mentors
  • Utilise mentors to work initially with graduates from our Cultivating Rural Excellence program and Youth Program
  • Establish a baseline skills assessment to assess not only mentors but the change they bring about with their mentees to measure output.

If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please contact Susan Renton on 1300 88 3276, email or complete the attached Expression of Interest Form here
